Anyone interested in hosting the 2014 USS Jouett Association Reunion should submit a proposal of events in the area,
possible transportation arrangements, nearest commercial airport and any other
interesting information
about the area to the Permanent Reunion Committee.
Committee members will make a recommendation to the Board Of Directors.
Persons submitting the proposal will be asked to participate, along with the
Reunion Committee, to effect a successful reunion.
REUNION 2012
The 7th USS Jouett reunion will take place
Wednesday August 15th through
Saturday August 18th 2012
in Portland Oregon

The 3rd USS Jouett reunion was held September 15th through the 19th in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Ladies and Gents, wow, the 2004 reunion is over and Mary and I really enjoyed putting this one together.
Wish we could have more time, for there was much more we wanted show and share with everyone that attended.
We started with Cajun Dance classes, to swamp cruise, went to Baton Rouge, visited the USS Kidd,
saw a historic plantation home, on to a tour of the Tabasco Plant and yes, we saw alligators.
We had what we call a Mini-Mardi Gras at this reunion and yes we had a King (Terry George/Plank Owner) and a Queen (Dru Semenkow/wife of Wayne Semenkow).
Most had never seen a true version of how Mardi Gras is actually celebrated here in Louisiana.
And of coarse, lots of Cajun Cuisine with gumbo Seafood and some of the guys even tried fried Alligator.
At this reunion, we saw lots of new faces some from our era and from other era, but let me tell ya,
once everyone met, it's like you've known them forever.
Again, we missed you and hope to see ya in 2006
